Virginia Organizing Dominion Rate Case Statewide Zoom
In September, Dominion Energy is up for a biennial review (PUR-2025-00058), where the SCC will review its rates, terms and conditions for the provision of generation, distribution, and transmission services. What does this mean for its customers? The energy magnate is asking the SCC for permission to raise customer rates and add to monthly energy bills, in order to increase the company's already significant rate of return.
Dominion wants to raise costs for people who are suffering from high energy burden to make more money on an safe investment.
